How To Obtain Security License?

Hi, I am thinking of working as a part-time security guard. How long and where can I get a license? Does it cost to? I am currently on a waiting for the security systems technician program at BCIT. They won't have space for me until April. In the mean time I would like a part-time security job.

The license itself you get from Victoria about $60 per year but then you need to get finger printed $20 bucks and up depending on were you go... photo id like the ones you get for passport 6 bucks at costco plus the cost of course go with the cheapest place you can find for the course the test is easy a 6 year old can pass it litteraly...
